Treeguards are Boss Monsters that can occasionally transform from Evergreens when a nearby Evergreen is chopped down. CIVILIZATION VI – A fix for ‘UI CityPanel’ mod users after the Fall 2016 Update

So the 2016 fall update for Civilization 6 broke the original “UI CityPanel” mod but thankfully a fan of the originally project has updated it now. This will fix the problems with some elements of the city panel not showing up or not functioning when using the UI CityPanel mod.

How to Auto Accept the EULA in CIVILIZATION VI

How automatically accept/skip the opening EULA in Civilization 6.

Text instructions below ▼▼

How To:

1. Navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Base\Assets\UI\FrontEnd (this is default, your location may vary if you changed the default install location for Civ 6)

2. Locate and open the IntroScreen.lua file with notepad

3. Scroll to the bottom of the document and insert "AcceptEULA();" without the quotes between '( OnRequestClose );' and 'end'

4. End result should look like this "Events.UserRequestClose.Add( OnRequestClose ); AcceptEULA();
end
Startup();"

5. Save the file, relaunch Civilization 6, and you're done!

The above instructions are for Windows, I do not know how to do this on Mac OS. If anyone body knows please leave a comment with the instructions below and I'll edit this description to include the steps for Mac OS as well.

Alternative How To:

1. Download the altered file

About this game:

How to Adjust Tooltip Delay in CIVILIZATION VI

How to adjust how long you have to keep your mouse over a tile before additional information is displayed via tooptips in Civilization 6. Text instructions below ▼▼

How To:
1. Navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Base\Assets\UI\ToolTips (this is default, your location may vary if you changed the default install location for Civ 6)

2. Locate and open the PlotToolTip.lua file with notepad

3. ctrl+f and search for 'pause' without the quotes

4. Change the decimal value of "local TIME_DEFAULT_PAUSE :number = 1.1" to something faster (eg 0.2 for 200 miliseconds)

5. Save the file, relaunch Civilization 6, and you're done!

The above instructions are for Windows, I do not know how to do this on Mac OS. If anyone body knows please leave a comment with the instructions below and I'll edit this description to include the steps for Mac OS as well.

How To:
1. Navigate to: Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI
2. Locate and open userOptions.txt with notepad
3. ctrl+f and search for 'autounit' without the quotes
4. Change "AutoUnitCycle 0" to "AutoUnitCycle 1"
5. Save the file, you're done!

LOST IN WOODS 2 - First Impressions - Son I Am Disappoint

You wake up in woods unknown to you. No people nearby, no car, no telephone. You are completely alone. You need to get out of the forest alive, which will be hard because of wild animals wandering around; you also need to find food, stay warm in the cold and find a place to spend the night at. If you don't succeed, you will die lost in this strange place. And don't think that you'll find so easily the door you've been looking for...

There are two difficulty levels: the normal green forest and the winter forest. Survival in the winter forest is more difficult due to some resources being more scarce. The entire game world is [randomly] generated, but its size is limited. It is populated by most diverse wildlife and filled with useful and useless items, many of which are needed to create tools and weapons or just tasty dishes... All these things will help you to survive and to find an exit from the forest.

How To Disable Intro Logo - CIVILIZATION VI

This is a simple guide on how to disable the intro movie that plays the 2K and Firaxis logos in Civilization 6.

You can disable the main intro video in the game options but you can't disable or skip the logos video the same way. This will allow you to disable the logos video too, doing both allows you to get to the main menu and start a game a lot quicker.

How To:

1. Download the blank logos.bk2 file

2. Go to the following folder:
Windows:
 \steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Base\Platforms\Windows\Movies\

/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Sid Meier's Civilization VI/Civ6.app/Contents/Assets/Base/Platforms/Windows/Movies
In Finder, go to Go → Go To Folder... and enter the above. If it gives you trouble, start at ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/ and start typing -- tab will pop up a list of options to complete. It might refuse to complete "Civ6.app", so just type it and append a /. (Once you're inside the .app bundle you can just browse normally anyway.)

3. Replace the logos.bk2 file in here with the one you downloaded.
